Hey Natalie, what was your inspiration behind your song Electricity? I listen to it at least once a day (at least). I just keep it on repeat.

The album concept for "The Relationship Odyssey" was about different types of relationships. A part of romantic relationships is physical attraction as well as how the mind and body connect. When I thought of the word "electricity" as it relates to 2 human beings exploring relationship, it brought two things to mind for me... physical and mental attraction/exploration. The song explores both of those themes simultaneously. "Going deep" can mean physically deep or mentally/emotionally deep or all of those things at the same time. Someone can turn you on physically, but also mentally so I wanted to explore that in the song. I had to balance the concepts in the song and also the delivery musically/vocal performance wise to get it to be just the right mix of sexy and smart. The song went through a couple of treatments and re-writes to get where it is today in its final version. I'm so glad you love the song!

My first priority in life is to enjoy it and learn from all the experiences I have while on this earth. There's not much I would do different to be honest. My path has made me who I am and I continue to walk the road I feel is best for me.

My song: Confused
Another artist's song: Mariah Carey Anytime You Need A Friend
Both have very special significance in my life, along with so many other songs!
